LS Tutors is excited to announce a special partnership with Urban Adventures. Urban Adventures is an international tour company that has offices in DC as well as many other cities. Urban Adventures uses 6 passenger open air electric vehicles called eCruisers to tour through the most interesting areas of DC. Below is a small sample of tours they offer:
Monument Tour Highlights
- Explore the famous monuments and war memorials of Washington DC, from a local perspective
- Venture through the American capital in a special eCruiser vehicle
- Learn local history through a narrative of stories from your expert guide
- Take a peek at the legendary, world-famous White House
- Venture through Capitol Hill, the Smithsonian museum areas, and other hot spots
DC Fun Food Tour Highlights
- Get off the beaten path and explore less-touristy parts of Washington, DC
- Sample yummy local bites at several unique spots along the way, including Eastern Market (when open)
- Check out important sites like the Waterfront and Navy Yard
- Explore Capitol Hill
- Learn local history through a narrative of stories
Each tour lasts between 2-3 hours and costs between $47 and $67. We are hoping to form small groups of 4 students who will be accompanied by an LS Tutor chaperone along with an Urban Adventure Tour guide.
