Back to School: News from LS Tutors

As the sunsets a little earlier each day and pools close for the season, families everywhere are getting back to a school year routine.  Students are filled with excitement to see friends, meet their teachers and learn new skills. It could also be a time of stress as changes in routines can make students of all ages a little anxious.  As parents and teachers, our main goal is to set students up for success.  LS Tutors are here to help make transitions successful. The relationships tutors create with their students goes far beyond classroom help.  Many of our families have worked with us for over 10 years. We love to watch our students grow from elementary to high school. And, we have welcomed many new families this summer.  In addition, several tutors have joined the LS Tutor family.

What our clients saying about LS Tutors?

“Our son was not excited about the prospect of meeting with Rick — no surprise there because it just feels like “extra school” for him.  However, after the session, our son said it was “much better than he expected” and added that “Rick is cool.”  (I think that’s high praise from a 13 year old!)  I think you hooked him, Rick!” ~Parent of rising 8th grader Sidwell Friends School
